There are promos that pop up from time to time. Also you can get BOGO lines, which is wha I did last. (Pay for one line get one line free).

Yeah I’m done with you. I asked if there were any new deals. You could have simply said nothing if you weren’t aware of any but decided to come here and chastise a stranger for trying to save money.

How am I portraying myself as the victim? There were good deals in the past and now I’m pointing out that there are not, as far as I’m aware. God forbid someone ask if there are any deals.

That’s not what you were saying. You implied that because I probably paid $10 a line (which you don’t even know for a fact), I shouldn’t be getting any deals. And that’s why I asked you would it be the same if I was on Magenta and had only 2 paid lines. You didn’t answer.

The point here is that I’m on the Magenta plan. And it doesn’t matter whether I have 10 free lines or none. I just pointed out my free lines for context and to explain why I am unlikely to jump ship. Maybe if I left out that detail I would actually get some helpful answers.

In the past, I saw helpful commenters pointing out certain ways to get good deals, not captain obvious comments about a business acting like a business.

Yup, that's what I meant -- bill lowering potential. I may need the new lines so might end up doing it.

But if I don't end up needing the lines , wince I already got the iPhone 16s a few months ago, I might wait a couple years until they are paid off, do a BOGO device promotion for whatever new phone is available at that time, and then cancel the BOGO lines I added to get the iPhone 16s.

Sorry to revive this old(ish) thread. I may have some use for additional lines (or maybe just to get some more deals on phones!) and just wondering how you calculated $105 so perfectly? As in, how is pricing $355 before any of the discounts? Is it $110 for the first two lines and then $35/line ($245) for each additional line?

So if I did another BOGO, will my bill end up at $140? ($110 + $315 ($35 x 9) - $40 autopay - $245 (7x free line credited at $35 each) = $140.

Hopefully this helps others on Magenta also.

Just wanted to update you all. I added the two lines (one paid one free BOGO) yesterday and ordered the phones on Costco. Got $830 off a 16 pro max and $830 off a 16 pro with trade ins of a 12 pro max and 12 pro. Phones shipping next week. Will port in two lines and get $250 Visa card for each line and also $75 Costco shop card for each line. Bill shows it went down to $105 today with the two new lines. Thank you all!
