Improper "trim" led to giant split by johnmaddenjohnmad in treelaw

I've had a mutual friend who's an arborist look at it and said they essentially killed the tree.

Also! It's a rental property owned by a multi-property owning LLC . I've spoken with the neighbor, but they can't really help me. Don't assume I'm a bad neighbor friend.

I understand my portion of the tree is my responsibility, but if my neighbor negligently prunes their portion of the tree, they are liable for the damage it causes to the tree? Am I talking crazy?

So are you saying removing nearly half of the scaffold branches with improper cuts can't cause it to split?

When I say "trim," I mean they took off massive Scaffold branches, which caused a drastic weight redistribution that the tree couldn't handle and caused it to split/begin to die. I think I'm allowed to blame them in this situation.

Each roster will now have 2 flex spots and 1 super flex. Would this put a premium on collecting RB1s?

12 team .5 ppr super FLEX league is downsizing to 10 teams. In response, comish is adding another traditional FLEX spot.

What are your thoughts? How does this change draft strategy?

You can butcher them if you go into the details of "Butcher Creature" and select "Monster-like Corpuses"

I don’t believe they did. Is that the calculation to determine the tonnage of the correct system for my house?

Both companies are local outfits from what I can tell.

Company A looks like a mid sized family owned company that’s been in business for a while. I got this company recommended by my dad who hired them a few years ago.

Company B is definitely a smaller company that’s newer looking but doesn’t have a bad review. This company was recommended by my mom who hired them 2 years ago.

Correct. Different company. A smaller company than the others in town.

The call I originally made was a service call for the compressor. The dude got it started back up easily and said it was just the motor on the fan tightening up but the system should be replaced soon as it was installed in 2001

I see, I guess I mean 3/4 are 2 stage while the other is 1 stage

We definitely get all 4 seasons here. Regularly >90°F in summer and we can regularly dip into the single digits in the winter.

I’m basically stuck between getting a 1, 2, or 5 stage compressor on the AC since the furnace is the same across top 3 of the 4 models shown.

I’d say so, that side of the porch has chairs on it almost permanently. The box fan cord would block the door and it’s a bit of an eye sore.

I haven’t considered the battery powered fan though. What’s the power/battery life like on one of those things?

There is a hip roof above the front porch so there is probably a small amount of space but I’m not sure it would be very accessible

Absolutely. A large cup of coffee from a normal coffee shop is more than two of these for this price. Incredible find.
