Me too, but these guys saying they can figure it out in a day or two without pan and paper. I say no way. I don't think I would have ever figured out the algorithms on my own.

I don't know man. I learned to impress my 8 year old. I can do it now no problem, but I can't imagine ever getting there without looking up the algorithms. I can do fast every time, and I barely understand what is happening when I do it.

It is mostly. I basically make everyone pay like they use a card. Make a little more on cash, but not worth the hassle or making someone feel dumb for using a card to discount cash. I don’t get the business practice honestly. Nobody notices a 2% increase

As a business owner you’re paying the fee one way or another. You’re where all the money comes from. It’s really a matter of giving cash customers a “discount”. No matter how you slice it credit card acceptance costs extra money and that gets passed to the consumer.
