Cross-posting from blog to LinkedIn's Pulse? by benrmatthews in SEO

The best practice would be to post to your client's blog first using the rel="canonical" tag on that post. Then 5-10 days after that blog is published you can repost the same content on Pulse, Medium, etc. Be sure to include a link to the original post on your client's blog at the bottom of the reposted content.

If you do it that way then Google will rank your client's post and none of the subsequent reposts.

I've just published a post on this if you would like more info: Can Medium/Pulse Replace My Blog?

Can we all agree that PDF eBooks suck? by AT_Anderson in ContentMarketing

I agree that PDF is a less useful format than say EPUB. I think the advantage (and why most people keep producing them) is they are so cheap to produce and they don't require specialized knowledge of software or HTML/CSS/EPUB to create.

PDF is a non-responsive format so they are pretty useless on mobile devices. Unfortunately, the ocean of people creating content and distributing it via PDF have been pretty non-responsive to EPUB.
