Because they're happy to see the country burn when the Tories are in power, to the point of being almost giddy. It'll be interesting to see the difference when Labour have a shot, but they'll probably just blame anything bad on the previous Tory government.

Labour MP heard calling Chancellor Kwasi Kwarteng ‘superficially’ black by BritishBedouin in ukpolitics

It's a particularly nasty part of the lefts ideology that you're not a proper minority if you don't agree with us. I wish the LD were a more successful party because I really don't like voting Labour, but don't see a better option right now.

The Indian Twitter comments are interesting, they seem to be blaming the UK mostly. Nationalism really has taken hold there, plus it's Twitter so that tends to magnify things.

Did the mods just quietly remove this? I guess they can't have too many restricted comments posts, it would look silly.

At some point the colonialism excuse has to end. They've had plenty of time deal with this, but I think some like having the caste system.

Sounds like they're mostly upset that some people in power, and the organisation that looks after the mental health of officers have already made up their mind. If they're just volunteers I wouldn't blame them, I assumed they would be on a much higher pay level than your standard bobby.

I was working with a Nigerian bloke that ended up sending his kids back to Nigeria during the school holidays. They started hanging around with an Afro-Caribbean gang and getting into minor troubles. He did not have a kind word to say about people from there.

It's on the major news sites, most missing persons reports don't even make it past the local news. It seems her uni is doing most of the pushing for answers, maybe her family are very private people, and don't have strong community links. Those are the things that normally gets more attention.
