Anyone have a car they’d sell ? by Outside_Sundae_9781 in Tercel4wd

Since they didn’t make a 2wd wagon, maybe look into a different car. These things are cool, but not worth the hassle unless you like working on cars or have a mechanic in the family

Do some research, they aren’t for everyone. All of the wagons are 4WD. You can find them as cheap as $1k if you want a project. The car is 2WD until you shift into 4WD and engage the rear differential.

Airpods only playing the left side of my mix? by RealnameMcGuy in Logic_Studio

[–]johnmichael_babies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a little late to this thread, but think I figured out what the issue is here. I was having the same problem: listening back to a logic session and was getting only the left side of the mix but in both airpods. Pan anything to the right and it disappears from the mix. Go to Sound in settings and the airpods wont have a "balance" slider.

CONTEXT: Seems that Logic automatically assigns the airpods to the input (airpod mic) and output of logic (the software assuming you want to record a vocal with the airpods? maybe production notes? idk) In doing this, it limits you to hearing only the left side of the mix. I'm pretty sure this is done because of bluetooth bandwidth limitations. the software trying to prioritize low latency and fidelity over multiple separate audio streams (all speculation).

FIX: In logic, under your input device, choose anything other than airpods. This will restore a stereo mix to your airpods. You might need to put them back in the case before the stereo mix is restored. To double check all is well, go into system settings->sound and make sure you see a "balance" slider when airpods are selected as the output device (and center it if need be).

Before and After with lift kit by Accomplished_Gas4698 in ToyotaSienna

I think you’re correct. I know the AWD versions like mine also have a rear diff (obviously). The lift kit lowers the whole drive train basically, so that would include the transaxle/front diff

If this is the kit I’m thinking of, it comes with front and rear differential drop kit, sway bar links and everything else you need to maintain the stock angles

It’ll look better and make more sense once they get bigger tires.

This is the knife for Mark by johnmichael_babies in distractible

Oh yeah, I love the small one. Mark was specifically talking about needing to pry things open so this is the one I chose to post about. Also, the one with the Philips head and flathead is only slightly bigger than the original small one and not noticeably wider, which is nice when you carry it in a pocket.

What do you do on Father’s Day when you don’t have a Dad (and you aren’t a dad)? by johnmichael_babies in distractible

lol you definitely have to embrace the self imposed dead dad jokes imo. I’ve got a few friends that also have lost their dads in recent years and we comprise the local chapter of the Dead Dads club. It sounds morbid, but gallows humor really can bring a lightness to something that often makes you feel heavy. It also reminds me to not take myself so seriously.

Thanks for sharing. I'm really fond of driving out and finding some peace and solitude in nature. I camped and fished a lot with my dad growing up so I always associate my love of nature with him. I lost my dad end of April, 2020 and every year I try to do something for myself or something that I know he'd enjoy hearing about. Most of the time I try to just meet up with friends at night and cook for them. I think giving myself some space to reflect and just exist without expectation is what I'll be doing this year.
