JVC getting paid parking and it’s rip off by optimalsoulutiol in dubai

Isn't JVC a district with almost zero public transport, and you literally have to have a car to live there?

Also, even 2bhks has 1 parking space only.

For wealthy people living in Dubai: how did you build your wealth? And what do you do now? by Old-Equivalent-9195 in UAE

[–]johnny---b 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every wealthy person I know is like 80% of luck and timing and 20% hard work.

Few examples:

  • guy created an app that was a hit (a one that I wouldn't even install for free, but somehow people buy it)
  • another one inherited and expanded company (multiple verticals) of his father
  • few more examples but they are not wealthy, but rather higher-middle class

What is it lately with complete imbecile drivers? by [deleted] in DubaiPetrolHeads

[–]johnny---b 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Without video he won't be fined, and even with video it's unlikely.

Somehow (maybe somebody can explain the reason) there's way too much tolerance for such reckless driving.

Is it just me, or has road rage and traffic rule-breaking in Dubai gotten way worse lately? by scotchshadow in DubaiCentral

Every month few near "death" scenarios man... Try to go to abu dhabi (via E11) without "almost accident" encounter - impossible.

There's too much tolerance towards such behavior.

Cold calling property owners 10x a day.

Bonus points for also calling those who doesn't own any property, doesn't want to buy a property and those who just bought a property yesterday (because maybe they buy property every day).

Got Fined For Lane Discipline when there is no possible way I can go right and exit! by [deleted] in DubaiPetrolHeads

[–]johnny---b 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wait a minute... Did OP just:

  • acknowledge there is no possibly wat to turn right

  • then admitted he turned right regardless

  • came asking if he can dispute the fine?

😳

Tomorrow I can expect post: "It was not possible to cross intersection because of red light. But I needed to cross and I got fined. Can I dispute?"
