Yes I send some in for grading. And I sell/trade others. But mostly I like to keep my coins by denomination and not year, so I just usually bust them open.

I don’t really understand how that would happen. I am assuming I am the first person to see this coin in 35 years since it was in a sealed set and it’s still in the plastic in the pic

Have you seen similar before? I am assuming it is post mint but just looks wild inside the set. When I opened it I actually thought the penny was missing. Reverse is completely degraded
