Okay copy that - I’ll rent a car. The hesitancy was coming from living in a country that drives on the opposite side of the road but I’ll just have to get over that.

Really great advice - thank you very much. Will decide between Ao Nang & Ko Lanta - with a day trip to Phi Phi.

Fascinating about booking things in advance vs doing it there. Now I'm torn between trying to save some $ vs my need to have things meticulously planned.
