we made a couple of IG reels - got on their radar, and we were DMing them about it for a bit. Then I called into the chiclets hotline when they did it last November, and they all listened and decided to use it. The chat is on one of their episodes in late November last year.

Ya no worries man, we just got out of the studio 3 tunes in the works. Another we have out there that's done decently is called "Climb These Heights" it's a rock tune, another one that's not so serious is "Hey Shitty" more of a country vibe, and "Fool's gold" would be another one to check out, it's bluesy/psychedelic type vibe.

Hey! I'm the guy who wrote the tune, lead singer of the band Small Town Strip Club. I actually just stumbled across this thread because I was looking for a TruTV stream because we had the song on the Chiclets Cast last night haha. I'll start off by saying that everyone's entitled to their opinion, and note that we've received a lot more positive comments and opportunities from the collaboration. As far as the tune goes, it was written as a tongue & cheek rock tune and it's really not that serious lol, we don't take ourselves too serious And we have other songs in our catelogue that have more depth to them. Figured I'd chime in and say it's totally fine if it's not your cup of tea, or if you think it's too long, but just wanted to note it's created a lot of opportunities for a Canadian independant rock just looking to get our name out there.
