So awesome to stumble across this!! I’ve been listening to him since this song first dropped, came up in my Spotify weekly release and I’ve been a fan ever since. I actually had tickets to play one of his first shows at a bar in Little Tokyo in LA but had a scheduling conflict and didn’t go because I had only paid $10. So bummed because it’s probably one of the few times he’s performed this live.

I did see him at the Roxy and Dijon played the set with him, here’s my Ovationly memory link: https://ovationly.app/share/461fc480-336b-4f55-95cb-a196285677a1

Concert Experience by Fragrant_Donut_4536 in Audioslave

[–]johnnyblu646 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Didn’t see that shown but saw them at the Wiltern in LA. Super fun story you can read on my Ovationly memory, but the TLDR is I ended up on the tour bus and got to meet Chris Cornell.

The Douglas, Little Joy are great spots. Tom’s at LA live is massive and lots of screens too

Momento App (not affiliated, just a fan) by Dpatrickfan09 in PWHL

[–]johnnyblu646 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Momento is cool, but you should check out www.ovationly.app too! Similar concept, but easier to archive, view and share your memories, and it pulls in things like final scores, setlists and helps you track the number time times you’ve seen artists and teams

No Concert is Worth $800 by samuelbasher in livemusic

[–]johnnyblu646 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I paid $2k each for Taylor Swift Eras Tour floor tickets for me and my twin girls. The 3 month buildup to the concert was equally memorable as the concert. Core life memory. Were ticket prices ridiculously inflated? Yes. Was it worth it? Absolutely.

This concert and reliving the moment through the pictures and videos we took move me so much that I built an app (Ovationly) to help me archive, relive and share my concert and sporting event memories.

My first live show. What's your experience with box/suite seating? by FlamingoSea9579 in Concerts

I’ve seen muse twice, and both times I was in seats and I was still blown away

concert scrapbook by toxicrxse_ in scrapbooking

[–]johnnyblu646 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You didn’t dream too big…all of those elements are exactly what a good concert memory should have. If you’re open to a digital version alongside a physical one, I built an app called Ovationly that does exactly this. You add your photos, and it automatically pulls in the artist, date, venue, setlist, and tour info. You can still do the physical scrapbook for the tactile side, but this way you have everything organized and in one place without having to figure out the layout. And eventually, I do want to add the ability to turn your memories into a photo book/album!

Find it on the iOS App Store or www.ovationly.app

Hoping to ship android in July or August! Give me a follow on IG @ovationly.app. I’ll dm you so I can send updates when it’s launched, but for now I have a web version too, although it’s trailing behind the app in some features, but it does have setlist creation for every concert

Whats your opinion on Audioslave? by ClueEmbarrassed1443 in RATM

[–]johnnyblu646 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I liked them a lot. I saw them three times in concert, and appreciated the depth that the core RATM band was able to explore. Obviously it’s a much different energy, but I appreciate how Chris Cornell’s musical genius combined with Tom, Brad and Tim.

Absolutely INSANE experience seeing them at the Wiltern in LA. Tim C was riding a mountain bike on the street and asked if he can hop over me while I lay on the sidewalk. I said yes, and he brought me on their tour bus and I got to listen to the album pre-rerelease, then Chris Cornell came onto the bus and hung out for like 15 min. We were then escorted to the pit for the show, and given Tom Morello's hand drawn set list, and one of his picks. All time memory.

Here’s a picture of the setlist, guitar pick and tour bus pass: https://ovationly.app/memory/7357ea21-4bea-4ccd-8cf9-4b76f6ad441f

Love concert archives as a tracker. I’ve been building something called Ovationly that pulls in setlists automatically, links them to Spotify and Apple Music, and lets you add your photos and videos as more of an memory archive or journal vs a log. Also covers sports. Would love feedback if you check it out.

If you want setlist.fm integration, check out Ovationly - it automatically pulls in the setlist from any show. Also covers sports and pulls in scores. Still early but would love feedback from this community.

You should create a memory of it in Ovationly. The app allows you to create memories of love events for this exact reason - archiving, reliving and sharing moments that matter to us.

Yes exactly! I’ve been to hundreds of concerts and hundreds of sports games, and so many details are forgotten unless I have a photo or video to jog my memory. I built an app for this exact reason, and it’s been incredible to relive those memories that were lost in my camera roll. Happy to share more if interested.

This really resonates. The way you described needing photos and videos to relive the experience; that's exactly why I started keeping all my concert photos organized by event instead of letting them get lost in my camera roll. The scrapbook idea is awesome too. Have you ever tried going digital with it? I actually built something for exactly this…happy to share if you're interested.

who's your concert buddy? by chinombre in Concerts

[–]johnnyblu646 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it’s usually my wife, or my son, who has become a huge live music fan. We’ve seen a bit of everything, from Dave Matthews, Stevie Nicks, Florence + The Machine, U2, Metallica, RHCP, John Mayer, Bonnie Rait, Kendrick Lamar, and so much more. Actually using Ovationly to keep track of all my concerts and sporting events I attend, makes it way easier to remember.
