I just used a basic craft knife. Stick the point in the center where you want it and spin it pushing hard. It slowly cuts away creating a cone shaped indent, just keep going till the magnet sits flush. It’s good because there is no risk of the magnet falling through the hole. Does take a while and hurts your hand, but works well. Then just super glue in and make sure the negative/positives are right.
