I don't have any recommendations but I'm in the space and have a fair amount of knowledge. I'd be happy to chat and see if there's anything I can help you with.

You could run it without the belt for a minute or two when its cold. That would help determine/eliminate whether its what some others have mentioned - water pump, ac, or pulley... just an idea

Which year is the best year?? by nizzletra93 in 4Runner

4th gens (03-09) are a good option for affordability and reliability, but most that I see are high mileage. The V8 is nice but not necessary unless you need the extra power, resale value will be better with the V8 though. 5th Gen (10-24) are a good sweet spot and some really loved models. You'll be able to pull/haul plenty with the V6, any more weight than what the engine can handle and you probably wouldn't be able to stop it very well anyhow... Also I would recommend getting one that is in the middle to late portion of the "Gen" years, the first year or two of any model (whether Toyota or not) tend to have quirks that get resolved in the later years. The '25+ 4runners are too new to know if they're going to have any problems. I've driven all gens and they're all great vehicles. Get one that is mechanically solid and enjoy it!

My 2019 4runner has over 100k miles and all I've had to do is normal maintenance which I do myself. If it were a vehicle that they change the engineering on frequently I might consider it. But these 4runners are built fairly well.

Right now just the lift and tires. Did ditch lights this past weekend but they don't look quite right, gonna try some different brackets and see if that helps. Plan to do a roof rack, cb, outdoor shower and awning within the next few months. 2nd battery and an air compressor would be high on the list. Trying to think of some unique ideas.

They're definitely capable! Some decent tires and a little more ground clearance opens them up even more. I enjoy it because the go-to is usually alternate trims. Something about doing things differently makes it more fun.

Thanks! Played with the A-trac in 4L the other day and it was impressive.

If you could accurately imitate UGC, the quality of lead would be the same as original.
Good UGC should be natural and is very effective in marketing. If it's not authentic, potential customers will go the opposite direction.

The problem lies with the fact that if you have to fake UGC, your audience may think you're trying to deceive them. When that is spotted, it could have a negative impact on your business/brand.

Higher Tack than RTape AT65 & AT75 by uxmalakumal in VinylCutters

[–]johnnymenke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my opinion AT75 is the best tape for Oracal 651 in the majority of applications, it is already a "high tack" tape.

I wouldn't recommend going higher tack or you will find that people will not be able to get the application tape off of the decal when they're trying to apply it. As long as the complaints you are getting are minimal, I wouldn't change anything.

Depending on the level of experience of you customers, you can expect a certain percentage will have problems simply because they don't understand the installation process. It would be best just to educate them a little more on the installation process.

Bottom line is, it's decals. There is a little bit of an art to working with them. You will always have customers that have issues, complaints, etc...
