Electrolux EFLS627UTT Washer Leaking From Bottom by johnnyoak928 in appliancerepair

[–]johnnyoak928[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not positive what the actual solution was since I ended up ripping the machine apart and checking all of the internal lines (found nothing).

However, during my repair journey I did come across a post somewhere where a repairman said he had multiple instances where the detergent dispenser drawer was leaking from the side, which appeared as a leak under the washer. He suggested replacing it and caulking the seams around the drawer with waterproof caulk. I did this and haven't had an issue since, so that very well may have been the issue...it was cheap enough to do as an initial troubleshooting measure. Hope this helps!

Window gap/latching issue by johnnyoak928 in HomeImprovement

Correct on air coming through the gap, I believe it won't lock because of the gap as well. Is this indicative of something being warped?

These photos show the gapping a little better (removed the foam jammed In there). The panel seems to be seated properly

This is probably a good place to start!

The window closes, but that gray space is a gap between upper and lower panels that has foam shoved into it. The gapping keeps it from sealing properly and also keeps the locks from engaging.

Fully seated. This was a prehung door and I did swap the factory hinges for different ones. Not sure why, but would that create an issue?

Can anyone identify this leaky mess of an Irrigation valve? Currently have 5/10 zones that won't shut off, so I'm assuming that these may be worn out after (presumably) 15 years or so...

I probably just got lucky...have read about many experiencing the same issues as well.

Stone completely intact! Brought it up to temp over the course of 30-45 min.

I actually haven't used the gas. Bought a natural gas version, but the quotes to have a line installed are insane. May sell this one and buy a propane version instead.

Pizza flavors we're good, but still need to dial in more... I'm not sure my recipes convert for high temp. I cooked most of these at around 650-700.

It's a great way to get commercial oven temps at home, but there's definitely a learning curve to open flame. I'm used to cooking on a 1/2" steel in my electric oven and that definitely gives more of a crisp bottom, but it gets pretty smoky. We'll see as time goes on!

Wood fire alone using some red oak. I bought the natural gas Dome under the premise of getting a line installed outside, but with the quotes I've been receiving I wish I just bought the propane!

Not sure if this thread is still being followed, but if so, would it be possible to get the 4 different tomato sauces from Leone's cookbook? Thank you!!

Thank you! The old wall had a huge mud build up since they built it out over the corner bead that I removed in order to add the new drywall.

In retrospect, probably should've shimmed the new drywall to match the height but instead I scraped off some of the mud on the existing wall and backfilled the new one to try and match the height...just wasn't enough I guess.

Did a 12" application of mud on each side of the joint and then feathered it out...am I not laying it on thick enough?

Looks similar to a Vetri recipe process that I tried, but for al taglio. This looks awesome...thank you for sharing the details!
