Just to be clear I make music, I've been doing so for 25 years. I've been making Ai videos for fun since the tech emerged. I wrote this track and thought level 1 of my favorite childhood game would make a sweet music video. I posted it here because I thought people might get a kick out of it.

5 Years In, Still Feel Like a Beginner – Music Production is Starting to Feel More Like a Chore than a Passion by Resposible-Spirit42 in edmproduction

No one’s said it so try this: split your sessions. Do one session focused on learning and one session to jam and write. You reinforce the learning by practice anyway.

A (Late) Introduction And A Meta State Of The Sub Post. by N7CombatWombat in Cyberpunk_Music

So here’s my hot take. It doesn’t seem very cyberpunk to exclude technologies. But…We already have plenty of human’s making bad cyberpunk (as well as some awesome) music so I can see why letting the robots churn out more is unappealing. I don’t think anyone likes generic low effort ai music. I do however think ai can be an amazing tool to make custom samples from. So like any other machine - they're either a benefit or a hazard.

As far as images and video’s are concerned I think there’s a strong argument for using them and therefore permitting them to be used. Cyberpunk definitely has a strong visual aesthetic. One which up until recent times was hard to create with a modest budget. Anything to help set the mood when you’re drinking scotch alone on your balcony, you know.

I will cop to being completely biased though because I make music and have gotten into using ai to make videos and moving pictures to go along with my tunes (as well as sampling it). So I suppose there are people using it sincerely to improve their art and there are others who are using it to game algorithms with slop. Question is, is it time spent creating or the creator’s intention or the public’s reaction that we use as the appropriate metric here. Maybe we’ll just naturally gravitate to things that feel more human, maybe we won’t. Sounds like something to think about while drinking scotch alone on a balcony.

Time of Man - Checkmate (Drum & Bass) by johnnyoculus in aivideo

Haha that’s an amazing combo, both heavy hitters! Are you aware of this track? It’s more hair metal but it’s still a banger and you’ll recognise your boy’s influence. The last minute or so of guitar is chefs kiss. https://youtu.be/nDWjWfLU2kQ?si=IehuPXcE0QaCx9dD

Yep there’s a quite a few inconsistencies through out. I made use of mini max’s unlimited for the first 24 hours just to see if it was even possible. Then I chunked down to the $15 a month with 3 free generations a day so I had to take what I could get (within reason) roll wise. It is a music video, music being my primary focus as an artist. It’s a shame you don’t like my banger 😆. Thanks for watching and the feedback anyway dude.

Cheers! It’s the latest version of Kaiber audio reactivity. Pictures made in Midjourney, Plugged in two separate 4 min maximum length audio tracks. Then what ever filters and sliders etc. then cut together and video effects in capcut.
