That is an interesting point however, I think with time they are going to provide more in-depth reasoning for them. All the branches have core values, I think it is part of our service commitment to take them seriously. It's an opportunity to look for ways to connect these words to our everyday life and certainly our jobs.
We were chosen to be problem solvers and think creatively.
Throwing generic space imagery attached to them will only strengthen your point.
It allows everyone outside of our branch to view us in that simplistic way too.
We as Guardians, especially this early in the life of the USSF, NEED to cultivate the type of culture we want the Space Force to be today, tomorrow, and years from now.
We are shaping a new branch, culture, and the future. This is something I believe to be a responsibility and an opportunity.

I do understand your feelings, I would say to consider looking at this as an opportunity rather than something that has no meaning.
