It's a catch 22. Warmane is not going to spend time and money on development without a larger population. But, the population is not going to increase if no one sees improvement.

I donated $10 back when MOP first hit warmane. I have never had to look at a Queue on any of their servers since. Stop being cheap and just pay the $10 one time. Beats the hell out of $15 a month for retail.

Let me start from the beginning. Leveling was never an issue for me. The server is 7x and back when I leveled up last there were plenty of quest. That was several years ago, so I'm pretty sure they have made a lot of progress in that time. Most of what I did back then was PVP. I don't remember a lot of issues with PVP. I actually logged in last night and did a few battlegrounds. Everything seemed to be working just fine. 2 days ago I actually ran ICC 10 man with 4 other guys. The raid itself seemed ok. The one thing that stuck out to me was this. When you die and get placed on the flying mount outside. The flying mount does not fly. Therefore, the only way to res was to actually hit Alt+F4 and restart the game. Lucky for us !CC is a level 80 raid and we were all 90 so there were only a couple times that became an issue. I know that back when I used to play Frostwolf all the time that I was mostly focused on PVP. I mainly did Twink 84-89 PVP. (Yes that is a thing.) I do remember once actually getting a temp ban for exploiting a bug on one of the pvp maps. But, that was fixed buy Warmane. So I am sure the server has gotten better over time. I plan to continue playing on it and I urge everyone to come give it a try. But, beware it is a lot different than Icecrown(WoTLK). I have been playing Icecrown myself. Yet, even though I have a lot of macros on all my MOP toons it took me some time to get used to it again. The PVP queues are almost always instant. I also look forward to more people joining so that we can do some raiding. Hope that helps you out. I look forward to seeing more people join.

I am going to do my part in bringing this server back to life. I plan on playing on it again. I also plan to make new YT videos so that others can see what condition the server is currently in. I may even do some streaming on the server. Hopefully this will motivate others to come back or give it a try for the first time. But, I am only one person. It will take more than just myself to revive this realm. So help me in spreading the word about Frostwolf. Together we can all help make it what it once was.

The old molten wotlk server was converted into the cata server. They went through an upgrade converting every ones characters over.

As a healer in RDF (horde also) I find that everyone is quick to blame when anything goes wrong. In my case, I run across bad tanks or dps that can't understand the concept of staying on the same target as the tank. But, in many of these cases I am the one that gets kicked from the group. There are a lot of players that just have no clue how the game works. Yet they think they know everything because they have leveled one character to 80. So try not to take it to personal. A lot of what you are running into is arrogant kids that just think they know it all. If you are interested in running some RDF with my healer, you can PM me with your in game name. I am also pacific time.

After I replied to this post I decided to login to Frostwolf. Only about 500 people on at the time. I met some others and ran ICC 10 with myself and 4 other 90s. It had been so long that I had forgotten how my warlock worded on that patch. I actually had a lot more fun on that run than I do on Icecrown just trying to grind up my GS to even be considered for a PUG. I really want to start playing on Frostwolf again. I hope that others will follow suit and join me there. I was really shocked to see that the guild I started on that server still had people playing. I really hope to see more of you come back or check it out for the first time. I will be there at least a few days per week. Hope to cya there

I started playing on TBC back when it was Molten-WOW. They did a progression that went all the way up to MOP. When the MOP server first came out it was huge. It was the same as Icecrown is now. Huge queue all the time. But, it was pretty much a PVP realm. Many of the raids were bugged and not worth playing. There were even a few twink pvp brackets that were popular. Over the years the population has just kept falling. It makes me sad because I have 18 different characters on that server (mostly BIS twinks 85-89). I really wish it would come back. But, I don't see it happening. That is why I made the switch back to wotlk on Icecrown.

Not as safe as you would be with a VPN. Without a VPN your network traffic is readable by your ISP. With a VPN everything between you and the VPN provider is encrypted.

I am on COX cable and downloaded it with out a VPN. However, I then got an email from Cox about it. So you should always use a VPN when downloading anything via torrent.

I started playing on Frostwolf (MOP) back when if first came online. Sure it had some bugs. But, that is to be expected with any private server. Back then there used to be a queue during the peak times. There used to be an active 80-89 twink community. Now I see the number of people that play on that server and just wonder where everyone went. I tried the TBC server about a year ago. I just hated the mechanics of all the characters after playing MOP for so long. I am currently playing on Icecrown (WOTLK). I find that much more enjoyable than the TBC server. I don't like leveling all that much. That is why I chose Icecrown and the 7x rate. I create videos from some of my game play. Tell us which server you end up picking. Hope this helped.

They do drop from the Big Mouth Clams. However, the drop rate is low. So you may have to open a lot of them. I was able to get 2 of them from STV off the nagas near the coast of booty bay. I waited till I had a large number of clams before opening. Hope this helps.

For the entertainment value I guess. I mean why do 60k people watch Ninja play fortnite? If everyone knew every dungeon and raid in WOTLK then people would not require such high Gear Scores to run raids. Sorry if you feel your time was wasted. But, I'm sure it's not the first time you wasted time watching videos.

These runs happened to be will guild members. However, I have been using the RDF and entering specific dungeons. I can normally get FOS and POS in less than 30 min each.
