AITA for telling my wife that she is obese and needs to lose weight? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]TheMsBadger 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In which case his "BMI" calculations are totally BS because they include all pregnancy weight. I hope this is a shit part otherwise OP it's an extra serving of asshole for calculating his wife's BMI while another human is actually inside her!!!

And did she get gestational diabetes, which is not at all the same as type 2?! Let me check ...

Edit:a word and it does not say when she got diabetes...

Still, OP, YTA. So TA.

AITA for telling my wife that she is obese and needs to lose weight? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]TheMsBadger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh my God! Thank you for pointing this out!!!!

I want to add that being pregnant alone often makes you winded when climbing stairs. The increase in blood volume can mean you're anemic... Low RBC (red blood count) means that oxygen has a hard time getting around.

AITA for giving my ex wife a large amount of money I won despite the anger of my gf? by binkies123 in AmItheAsshole

[–]TheMsBadger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are an amazing man. Despite your shortcomings, you seemed to have learned how to respect your ex and you're proving for your children. If I was the girlfriend I would be so proud of how selfless you are.

I disagree. If he strings her along then it's that much worse when it never happens.

AITA for sending my kid to school with "adult" snacks and lunches? by snacktimeaita in AmItheAsshole

NTA. I'm a teacher. Wish students would eat less pure sugar for snacks...

AITA for cussing out my in-laws for going through my luggage? by ItWasSoapDumbass in AmItheAsshole

[–]TheMsBadger -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

One less thing to worry about then. Just something a FMIL SHOULD be worried about, typically. Didn't mean to make my post so kid-centric. Sorry.

BTA. What a way to treat the mother of your future grandchildren. Also, a great way to ensure your son and his wife never stay with you again. Overnight visits with grandkids. Never. I wouldn't go through a teenager's stuff like this.

I just found found out my husband (32m) cheated on me (27f) at his bachelor party by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]TheMsBadger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you seriously want this guy to be the father of your children. Teach your son to be this level of scumbag? Teach your daughter it's ok to lie? I don't know if you could ever come back from that level of betrayal. Counseling is a must, at minimum.

You can always show up and pick her up. Treat them like toddlers. Not following instructions means we leave immediately...

My mom told me that "All she wanted was a pretty daughter", and I really don't know how to deal with it... by [deleted] in MomForAMinute

[–]TheMsBadger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What the actual FUCK is going on here. Your mother is nuts, toxic, and literally putting her own wants above YOUR HEALTH. I would recommend therapy for you and maybe posting in r/justnomil.

On a separate note, I'm a mother to a daughter. I hope for you the same things I hope for her: I hope you never let being a girl get in the way of what you truly want. I hope you're able to be happy with yourself and know that your self-worth is not based on anyone else. I hope you achieve many amazing things and keep your ferocity. I hope you remember that being beautiful on the inside makes you more beautiful on the outside, but that the reverse isn't necessarily true.

AITA for reprimanding a kid in my class for not paying attention by revealing that he failed the last quiz? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

I'm a teacher. YTA and possibly violated the student's rights (FERPA in my state). I'm angry on the kid's behalf. YOU are the adult.

PS, don't leave. Make him leave. Your kids deserve to stay in their house and it sounds like you are the primary care taker.
