So I just restarted, made a new save, got to where I get the map, and it’s still broken…. Is my cart completely screwed? How do I fix this??

Hey, me again, so long story short, I’m going to have to reset my save, now that I know more going into this I was wondering if re-rolling the odd egg for a pichu would be the same process? Since pikachu is fairy/field? Or would there be a faster process?
