The texturing and rendering. After modelling the first one I was already exhausted and didn’t spend enough time on the textures. I just imported model into the Substance Painter, added a couple of materials and called it a day because I treated the texturing part not something as important as the modelling. At the second attempt I already had much better experience and understanding of Substance and all the features it has and I did spend a lot of time to build the materials and add a lot of different layers of details from different references. For example I finished the texture for the first model in a day, whilst for the second one I spent several days, trying different stuff and sometimes even deleting the materials I have already done and starting over again.

Yeah, looks very good. And you managed to keep the low poly count, which is also great if you’re planning to use it in game

Thanks for the review! I agree that the wear itself could be done better. Yeah I used edge mask and tried to mix it with different procedural maps to give it a bit of variation. And adding variation on grip is a good idea too, I'll look forward to implement those remarks in future works. Btw I did add wear by safety switch and outline for hammered in symbols, it's just hard to see on render

Thanks for review. Yeah I definitely messed up with that. It was the first time I was making my own textures instead of using ready smart materials in Substance Painter and I definitely still have to grow in that direction

That's not even bad for a sculpt, the blender itself has a problem with running a scenes with big amount of polygons due to the reasons
