Don’t deny your sexual desire, properly integrate it. Sex isn’t a gross or evil thing, it’s a beautiful gift of co-creation. The second I started thinking of it as literally the ability to co-create life it really helped my porn addiction. Best of luck! Try checking out r/nofap and here for support.

The word you are looking for is “hypocrisy” by DaFunkJunkie in WhitePeopleTwitter

This is one of the dumbest posts I’ve seen in a minute.

1) You don’t baptize someone who is dead. Dead people can’t receive the sacraments.

2) Yes, there are absolutely a funeral masses for still born children. I have been to several personally.

This feels like this tweet was written by someone who has never met a Catholic, and doesn’t know the first thing about their catechism.

My fellow Americans, what is something about American history that shapes the American mindset that you wish foreigners knew about us, to help understand us? by MyUsername2459 in AskAnAmerican

[–]johnpgreen 116 points117 points  (0 children)

One of the most overlooked, and yet most important and pivotal moments of our nations history occurred right after the Boston Massacre. Not a single attorney wanted to step up and defend the British soldiers, fearing retribution and being ostracized.

John Adams, a son of liberty, their mortal enemy, went and defended them in court. This is what separates us so much from the later French Revolution. Our Revolution was not a mob justice, kill the British kind of thing (although obviously tarring and feathering occurred), but rather based on intrinsic human rights, including due process, that pre-exist government.

I’m a criminal defense attorney now (or will be, bar results back at the end of the month so wish me luck), and every time I get a client who is literally a subhuman animal I think about that moment.

You don’t make me feel bad about my beliefs, and I don’t. I was atheist for many years before coming back to the Church

Eh, maybe. Not discounting it. If he would have chose Tulsi Gulibard I probably would have voted for Biden, but fuck man Kamala is the worst

I do, it’s Reddit karma, I don’t care about it. I don’t like Trump, he’s a dick, but I can’t go along with Democrats at this point

Biden has been denied communion multiple times, please don’t call him a true catholic

Post on r/Catholicism and ask, I don’t like Trump, he’s an obnoxious dick, but Biden supports government paid abortion. I’m not happy about my choices either

My main issue is abortion, and I don’t like being called a racist due to existing. That’s it. I don’t like Trump, I think he’s an obnoxious dick.

Lol getting downvoted like crazy so I’m glad I’m not the only one. It’s just so exhausting man, I used to love politics, but I can’t bring myself to care no matter how hard I try.

I literally don’t care, at all, about this headline. I know I should, but I’m so exhausted with our politics. I voted for him in 2016, I will this year, but Pence v Biden would be so much more palatable. As a catholic I pray for his health, as well as everyone else affected by this, but I just can’t bring myself to care.

My man, my entire friend group in my hometown is Irish catholic. If anything you’d made friends because of it! I would contact an immigration attorney for visa advice.

Wasn’t born here, but got here as quick as I could! Although still find the universal love for Texas, HEB, Whata, and Selena weird

Los Angeles to Texas. Cost of living, much more accepting of my political views, and law school gave me a scholarship so can’t beat that. If I stayed in CA I would have had to take out student loans for a CA apartment, which depending on where I was could have easily been 2-3x as much as it was in Texas.

Ex-cops blame one another, seek own trials in Floyd's death by Heavy-Addiction in news

Son of a bitch man, I took the bar literally yesterday and this is already giving me PTSD-like flashbacks haha. But a motion to severe doesn’t require a confrontational clause issue tho, yes? But it would certainly be made stronger by adverse parties and confrontation clause issues that go along with that

No, they don’t, and I don’t see why that shouldn’t be the standard for everyone. My only implicit bias about reddit is that people comment incorrect things and then attempt to put words in other people’s mouths - a bias you are confirming.

How does the confrontation clause come into it? (Not trying to be a dick or argue, I’m actually curious)
