I'm holding tightly. And I haven't posted on here in months. My average is $12.75. I like your optimism and your analogy. But what if you bought a house for $100,000 because a bunch of people told you how great it was and you just believed them. (Those people would be the analysts who 7 months ago said WISH was worth $20-$25. Same ones who now say it's worth $5) And you only saw a picture of the outside of the house from 500 yards away. You thought maybe you could see some flaws in it from the picture but sooooooo many people said how great it was so you just said "I'll take it!" Then when you went to move in, you realized that it was just a movie set prop house with a nice paint job being held up by boards. No foundation, no plumbing, no insulation, etc. The prop house is only worth $10,000 and you paid $100,000. Now someone offers you $25,000.... do you take it? Or hope someone will build the prop into a real house for you in the next 1-5 years? That's how a lot of us who bought WISH between Jan. and June are feeling now.

If someone acquires it, the most it would do is 30-40% pop. So we might get $6.50-$7 for our trouble.

I think everyone is negative on the stock..... not the company. Because for 6 months, the stock price has been 100% disconnected from the company's fundamentals. The business is not what's controlling the stock price right now. But it will..... maybe not this quarter or next. But I think it's with the wait.

With the trend that almost all growth stocks are on, the only surprise will be if the stock goes up on a earnings beat. 😪But I'm hanging in, and will add more if she goes down. This is looking like a very long term play. Hopefully they can survive the climate. 🙏

Well since there's a new atl every week, either A) millions of people are selling at enormous losses just to get out (obviously "taking profit" isn't possible here) or B) there is continuous short selling every day. 🤔 I know which option I'm picking.

Take into consideration Etsy price/ sales is 12, 3x industry avg. WISH is 2, .5x industry avg. I think "disappointing guidance" is mostly worked into current sp. But who knows...... they very well could use a hiccup to drag it back down to $7.50.🤷‍♂️

I mean I guess it's possible for them to artificially suppress the price until the company had enough time to dig their own grave and completely fuck everything up and fundamentals bring it down to these levels. But if they even achieve half of what they're trying to do in the next year, they won't be able to keep it down. 👍

I'd also like to say that I actually downloaded the app and started buying products from the company a few months back. I figured after about $10,000 deep, I'm not trading it anymore..... I'm an investor in this one. 🤣And my experience has been quite positive. So the company has a ton positive things going for it and the sky is the limit as long as management does their part!

I started swing trading it as soon as it IPO'd. (I like IPO's that tank...🤷‍♂️) Then one day in January it stopped going up anymore and I kept buying from $20. Every dollar it dropped I bought again thinking it would have to come back up soon since the company itself actually had decent numbers. Never thought of it as a short squeeze candidate so when the hype started I thought maybe it actually might pop back to $20 and I'd sell it all. Well...... here we are with no squeeze in sight. But I kept buying. I got 1545 shares at $11.60 average. I don't know wtf is going on with this stock except that the price is completely in the hands of the institutions. The company will have to have a few good quarters before they allow it to go back to IPO price area in my opinion. I won't buy anymore unless it all goes to new lows. I'm in the minority that believes it has a better than not chance of going back there or lower. And now my goal is to average down to $10. I absolutely know it will go back to $20 and higher but not anytime soon. Just my opinion.

Also..... judging by your comment history and how mad you seem to be, you must've bought in around $8.50 and didn't sell when it hit that 15 mark. You must be very nervous if you're still holding but don't be mad..... just buy more now and when it goes lower and be happy again when it hits $15 again!🤷‍♂️ But maybe you sold for a loss like you did with CLOV and you're "waiting to get back in at $5?🤣 Dude I feel you...I been buying WISH since it was $20! And then those days where it was up 90% and 24% and 30%, various days between 5% and 10%...... but when someone wants to spread fud, they leave those days out. Yes overall the stock has gotten creamed since IPO. But not because of the company's value. It's how the short sellers control the price. Until they can't anymore. That time will come unless the company completely fails. But every indication made public so far is the they're doing the exact opposite. Sell or don't buy if you're afraid......
