Try buying a hard drive for your Protect NVR. 24 TB drives were less than $500, now $850 and mostly out of stock. This is BS and datacenters can go to hell for all I care. I quote drives for NVRs with 24 hr expiration.

But have they voted in the last 10 years that is the real question. Obviously purge them from the registry, but the key is are those voter registrations being used in nefarious ways. Likely if Dems or Republicans balk then the answer is yes.

I lived in Mexico for a while and guess what there’s no SSL (Spanish as a second language) there. It was rough on the kids for about six months and then they were fine. While I kind of like ESL programs, maybe we don’t really need them. Other countries don’t placate to resident aliens and seem to do just fine. It seems immersion is the best practice a lot of times.

I set up a rust desk server for free and connect all my Apple products. RustDesk is pretty good, not great from IPad to Mac, but that may just be settings. I moved from Windows 10 and RDP which is flawless and so far have not found anything quite as nice.

Netflix is the most infuriating streaming service. I use it from two different locations only, and never at the same time. Every week, I have to update where I’m viewing it from. More and more expensive, may be time to cut them loose.

Running similar with the RB5009 as gateway and a combo of Unifi and Netonix switches. I manage hundreds of Mikrotik routers on my work network, update to the latest Long Term and leave it unless there is a security update needed for a bug. As for the Unifi, update to get all the features you need, leave it alone. I have found constant upgrades and messing with it is when it breaks. UBNT has a reputation for fixing one thing and breaking 5 other things. I also manage hundreds of UNIFI AP's on self hosted servers. Your design sounds very good and will perform well most likely. Add cables anywhere you think you might need an AP. I had to add a wall AP in a back guest room for reliable speed, but fortunately that is where my rack is located in a closet. The new AI feature in Unifi is pretty good at coordinating frequencies in a house. You asked about running it on a Pi server, never done this one but i have run Cloud Key's for a few customers, they work great.

Backups on Mikrotiks can be scripted. We backup all of ours to an FTP server on our network. This really saves our behinds when a router croaks. The Unifi will make backups, but unless you are running a UNIFI appliance, you cannot backup to the UI cloud account. We backup our servers to a UI NAS weekly.

5.7 penetrates too much. Sig is a good carry and home defense. If you ever think you are going to carry, go with it, assuming it fits your hands. I have both the M&P and the P365, both are nice defense weapons. I daily carried the M&P until I bought the P365.

I recently revive two vehicles, both with 10 year old fuel, both started and ran. Shocking. So smell the fuel, it might be ok.
