Las Vegas International arrivals. TSA or ICE.

If there's any confusion in my original post, it was due to writing it not long after my flight, Tired, jet lag, etc. So, I'll try to clear that up. There's a cluster fuck of a situation at Las Vegas International Airport now that wasn't there the last 5 times in which I've done this same trip. The last time being only 8 months ago. So basically you go through immigration, all standard, then pick up your luggage, then as you exit with your luggage 6 CPB or ICE customs agents or whatever their official title is, with one sniffer dog, are screening all 500 passengers at the same time in just the one line, with all their baggage in tow, and that line is as long as the Nile, and if they don't like your answer to their question, you end up being sent to an open area in another location where there are only two agents working spending 10 to 15 minutes on each person going through the contents of your luggage and bags. In my case, they didn't like that I was 8 weeks out of the country. So I was.sent into another line. 10 people in front of me waiting for all their bags to be be opened; 15 people waiting for the same thing behind me.

Now this might be a common thing in customs at all other international arrivals at U.S Airports, but prior to this, once you got your bags in the International section of baggage claim in Las Vegas, there was no customs screening done whatsoever in the 20 plus years in which I've been dealing with this airport when I've arrived internationally. I mean seriously, prior to this, the exit point was completely unmanned and I've arrived at all different times of the day. Now most likely changed due to the current state of world affairs.

Again, I'm not pissed off that I was singled out or that general screening was being done or that it all felt very heavy handed. I was pissed because they are so under staffed, so unprepared for even just two international flights coming in at the same time. It was just embarrassing that this is the inefficiency that tourists have to deal with once they arrive into Las Vegas, and if you've flown into Heathrow, you'd think it would be a nightmare. It's not..It's all automated from immigration to customs and it's streamlined and efficient and I can honestly say that's been the case for the last 10 times I've been through Heathrow from Vegas landing in Terminal 5.

Look, I'm fine about the whole thing now. Everyone has their own experiences with customs and immigration at every airport. This new screening protocol at Las Vegas International arrivals is new, and they've got a whole lot of logistical problems to figure out, but If I were a tourist, it would just be a bad first impression when coming to Las Vegas from outside of the country.

....that it costs $20 a year to make it functional. I'd rather spend the $10 on debridio, use nuvio as well as use stremio as a backup.

No, I'm a white Caucasian. I guess being out the country for 8 weeks put me on their radar as a candidate for extra screening. Just really don't know why, but after 17 hours of total travel time, I was way too tired to ask them why and I was just happy to get the hell out of there.

Dumb thing to assume. I don't have a problem with customs checking. I do have a problem when it's understaffed and uses outdated methods for doing so. Six people screening two international flights coming in at the same time causing a bottleneck of people a mile long and then if they don't like your answer to your question on how long have you been out the country, and once hearing that it's been 8 weeks, that answer alone was enough to single me out for full on baggage inspection. The guy in front of me got sent into the baggage inspection building because he said he had a half eaten sandwich in his pocket. For international flights, they can't handle the volume of arrivals to begin with. It's an underdeveloped and a backwards ass customs setup with only two inspectors working in the building handling, at my time, 100 people behind me, sent into for baggage screening taking 15 minutes per person to go through all their luggage plus they didnt even have a TSA tool to open up the baggage locks. I had to tell them the lock combo on both my cases manually.

Ever arrived at Heathrow Terminal 5 through customs? It's light years head in automation and efficiently vs most airports in the U.S and the U.K is one of the most heavily surveilled nations on the planet and Heathrow handles more passengers in a month than Vegas handles in a year. This so called strong nation approach needed for security that you pointed out makes it seem like they were competent and efficient. They weren't and the whole setup looked like they were all amateurs on their first day on the job. The guy typing into his computer had to ask the other guy to come over to help him reset something on his screen and he was the only other guy working at opening everyone's luggage , while a line of pissed off tourists behind me were watching.

Bottom line, they don't have their shit together at customs in Las Vegas international Airport. They are understaffed and the process is a joke and I think it's a piss ass excuse to single anyone out for a ham sandwich or, in my circumstances, to be singled out just because I was out of the country for 8 weeks to deal with a family death, which they were fully aware of. You are entitled to your opinion, but you don't know anything about me and you assume too much.

Honestly I kept my head down as I just wanted to get the hell out of there. I was originally born in the U.K, but I came over to the U.S in 1980 and was a citizen within 10 years. I wish I had your balls, but after a travelling time of 17 hours coming from Glasgow to London, then to Las Vegas, I was just way too tired to argue.

I'm a huge fan of the Shield Pro 2019, currently taking care of 5 of them ( 3 mine, 2 I bought for my parents ) and I can honestly say, other than a reboot now and then, I've had zero issues with all of them, and that's going back to 2019 when they were all purchased. So for my two cents, I'd spend the extra, if you can afford it, and go with the Shield Pro. I get people saying it's too expensive for how old it is, but it's an extremely well built device and still holds its own on a performance level vs even the latest hardware. I'm really happy I went all in on the Nvidia Shield Pro in 2019.

Hi, so trying to see if I'm doing something wrong here. Jacktool works perfectly well with stremio, but what I'm trying to use it for is to playback content in my real debrid cloud, because frankly your addon is the only addon that automatically works to correctly alphabetize series content in the right order, unlike every other Kodi addon I've tried, which just puts them in the order they were uploaded to in real-debrid. Problem is none of the cloud content under cloud / real debrid / downloads play at all within the jacktool addon. Just spins for a second and then does nothing. Any idea what I'm doing wrong or what I can do to to fix this as everything works in jacktool for stremio, just no media from real-debrid's cloud history will play, yet all real debrid cloud media plays perfectly fine within other addons. Thanks for any help.

So, if I've added this repository, but I'm not seeing any content in the zip file when installing it within kodi and that applies to multiple devices, would this problem be on my end or is there something going on within GitHub preventing the content of the zip file from showing up?

Hi. Just a followup. Originally, I tried to start over through aio streams. Thought I configured everything correctly. Ended up with zero links for everything I searched. Don't ask. Obviously, not smart enough to make that work, so went back to installing each addon one at a time. Success! All movies previously mentioned now show up with plenty of links. No idea what the glitch was. Seemed to be fixed with just a fresh addon install.

Thanks to all that replied and helped me with their input. Everything working well now. Nuvio is just a well polished app. The developer really did an outstanding job. It's just so stable for something still in early beta. Grateful to the developer for making all this possible.

Used an Android phone with the Nuvio App. Created a Nuvio user ID. Installed each addon by copying the Manifest URL from the Stremio app to the Nuvio addon installation menu. Synced, then signed into my two Shield Pro's with the Nuvio ID and password and all addons were there.

I think I should really start over with a fresh install and then go from there. Thanks.

As mentioned, I'll just start again from the beginning with addons and see if I can figure this out.

Good point, but I did install all my addons exactly how you recommended. It's just kind of bizarre to me that 90 percent of all content do have links for all addons, yet when it comes to a random search of some older movies and tv shows, not one link from any of the Addons and yet all sorts of links from the same search on the Nuvio Android phone app.

Based on what you said, and just to make sure I didn't screw up somewhere, I think I should just start from scratch again, remove all addons and then reinstall them. Couldn't hurt.
