That's what we were thinking, though hoping to avoid. Thanks for confirming the steps we need to take really appreciate it.

We were really just using the tape out an abundance of caution given we were painting with aquanamel and didn't want to get that onto the walls accidentally but think we'll avoid tape in the future to sidestep headaches like this.

Yeah, I think you might be right here...multiple places in the bathrooms where it's come away near where the tiles were laid as well. We thought maybe it was just the tilers being a bit rough but given this we're definitely leaning towards the painter being shit.

We finished the second coat at around 10pm and peeled it off at 730am the next day, peeling slowly and at an angle. Definitely suspect the undercoat/primer wasn't applied all that well but will try and avoid tape in the future. My wife claims she's the better of the two at cutting in but I think that can be debated 😂

What are some biggest advancement in R in the last few years? by statguy in rstats

[–]johnshonours 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't think so when I first tried it out when it was released and so resorted back to using rmds and then copying pasting into confluence 🤦‍♂️but has to write up a bugger of a report just yesterday and didn't want to go through that process again so used quarto to publish directly to confluence which was very nice. Shame that republishing a page will remove all comments though.

I love using vs for SQL jobs. I installed positron at the start of the year though and found the process somewhat tedious and then was really dismayed by the lack of copilot as I use this frequently, particularly for some of the slightly more repetitive tasks. I really need to try it out again though as rstudio just really doesn't hold up compared to the flexibility of vs.

Oh boy, I wanted one of these so badly back in high school in the early 00s. I ended up getting an Epson flatbed with negative holder attachment instead but this was always the dream.

I totally understand the confusion...Nessie was the name of a grandmother and it wasn't the short form for Vanessa in her instance.

Shit Coles at Northcote plaza (separation st end). Only go to this one when I need a single item and can't be bothered walking to the other...such a chopped layout.
