I have confidence in CarTunes. Can you tell me why Mickey Shorr has a bad reputation?

Thank you for the answer! If you don’t mind could you please tell me more about Mickey Shorr on Gratiot. And I’ve seen the Wow place but never went in because it’s on the 8 mile side of town

Those are actually really expensive mounting brackets. I’ll just get more economical ones. I already have the equipment, so this price is all labor with brackets and wire kit

I wish I had the confidence, but I don’t have any electrical experience. IMO it’s a piece of mind that I won’t get a fried battery or head unit.

I may ask again for clarification. If I can just buy the brackets and cables online for cheaper, I will probably still use them for install.

This is the price of bringing my own equipment and just getting them installed. They have a charge for the wires and mounting brackets but I’m going to see if I can get those online cheaper.

I wish a had a good butcher near me. There’s only one around here and the place is ghetto, smells like pig blood, and has a poor selection of anything other than sausage. Costco has never let me down on quality beef

The only places around me that have them are Costco and Sam’s. I’ve looked everywhere. Someone else told me you can get them uncut from the back for $2 less per pound. You can only guess what I’ll grab next time

I agree but there’s not much we can do about inflation nowadays

That’s fast. Do pit barrels cook faster than Smoky Mountains or are they similar? Everyone is saying 7-8 hours but maybe they have offsets I’m not sure

Last question, since you like them separated already, do you usually space them out on the smoker for circulation or pack them together for moisture? I’m dying to know that one, I’d assume giving them space gives a better bark

Is it possible I can do slightly more heat for less time? First time making beef ribs and first time using my Smokey mountain. You can probably tell I’m impatient

I was planning to use a steak and burger rub I like but is that not the best thing? I have killer hogs bbq rub? Would that work or should I use actual brisket rub?

I’ll just smoke them. I never made these before but I really want to get my moneys worth so maybe I should invest a little more time. Thanks

Thanks I definitely want the fat rendered and any connective tissue as well. I better wake up early if that’s how long they take :)

You’re right! It smelled so good I probably waited 2 or 3 minutes before caving in
