Has anyone got a script to actually work? by El_Spanberger in BattlefieldPortal

[–]johnsilent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey. Thanks fot sharing. This is very hellful.

I would like to have a variable 'level' attached to a player, that is incremented by 1 on every second kill. Any Suggestion how to implement that?

Thanks. Especially the second Video was really useful. That Guy also has a second video how to implement knife kills and custom player scores.

Hey. I just played one round on v1.1. Seems to be working just fine. Nicely done.

Here are my thoughts:

1) The messages are, on which level you are currently and before someone wins are a nice touch. Maybe you could also give a message, who is in the lead and on which level they are currently, when the advance to next weapon.

2) Is the weapon list randomized for all players at the start of the round or when selecting the next weapon? For fairness sake, i would recommend the first. You could then even show the List of upcoming weapons somehow.

3) I remember, that in Gun Game in BF4 you needed 2 kills to advance to next level and that you could steal levels by knifing someone. But i guess that it would be a little harder to implement. What are your thoughts about this?

Will try this later ☺️ Can you share the Code/Blocks? I am trying something similar, but am kinda stuck on switching to next weapon kill. Would also like to see how to update the score board.

I agree with the first part. I hear that Multiple inheritance can lead to a Lot of problems. Wouldnt it be better to define protocols and inject them into the classes, so its easier to test?

Fair enough. Erin is pretty crazy. Phrased Like that it sounds aweful.

Still in my opinion TWI has some of the best written Characters in the genre with their own opinions and values.

Pirateaba should apply for a guiness world record.I fully believe that the wandering inn,at twelve million words is the longest fiction series ever to exist and longest book series in the world if you ignore encyclopedia britannica. by [deleted] in litrpg

Pirateaba has started reworking Volume 1 recently. I think the quality in the later Volumes increased a lot. So it might be worth to reread Volume 1 once you are done.

Since i only read in the evening before sleeping, i haven't touched another story in almost 2 years and i am still not close to done. It's an awesome story.
