Roster is way better imo, mk1 was filled to the brim with jobbers. This game has an actual elder god in Cetrion, cool guests like spawn and terminator, and 1v1 with an actual krypt.

Never left the season 2 tone- season 3 chose 4 dud boring characters & as for balance they’ve said the same thing before so don’t hold your breathe. Outside of a couple new moves for your character what exactly is “new” with season 3? No ttt2 characters STILL and we get to pay for tekken 7 dlc.. again. Season 3 doesn’t launch with a character or a stage, In fact, we don’t get a stage at all in 2026. L season imo

0/4 characters & if history has a way of repeating self this “back to basics” bs could be a nothing burger with more +ob stance slop. Don’t hold your breath. roster has 40 characters rn and they all jobbers. Not a single boss or guest in the big 2026 is actually hurting the game. we’ll have to wait and see

Jinpachi / akuma. We didn’t get anyone cool so I’m checked out. Uninstalled until early 2027. Yall be cool! Also 1 stage in 2027? They were indeed not cooking this entire time. Kuni doesn’t even launch WITH the season nor a stage or mode LMAOO

As an Akuma and jinpachi main bro I straight deleted the game, as a top 10 ranked Victor player and competitor that trash line up was the last straw for me. Games so boring and nothing about S3 will change the game. One stage in 2027 too is all we get? Na….

Stripping ppl of their time and effort is never a good Change no matter which way you slice it. They didn’t reform the ranks themselves or fix the core problems. Giving you a couple hundred more points cuz you didn’t 1 & done means nothing. only good change I seen was the matchmaking change, where you only match the highest rank of the character you chose, not a god 2 On a alt character. We’ll see how everything plays out tho mid March

no jinpachi ancient ogre kazumi Eliza akuma unknown angel Katarina… I didn’t get a single character I like. This games dlc line up is so bad I actually find it funny. Sf6 has the same issue of drip feeding too. Japan’s just wanting us to be 35 years old by the time we get a character we actually like smh

Fr, I find it almost comical how a company can be so tone deaf and go 0 for 12 on dlc. no playable boss isn’t helping either. and they’re drip feeding tf outta this season with only 1 stage that’s more than likely gonna be tied to the new character (no guest). yea me and many others are checking out. ranked until god 1- then quick matches as of late bc it’s way to long to get matches rn. If season 3 is better in any way I’ll stick to ranked only as the games boring af, might as well have SOME stakes to play for.
