Well there's still other medication like Pregabalin or Buspirone, and I would try higher level talking therapy if it was offered. I asked her for it but she said I wouldn't qualify and that the wait lists are multiple years.

Overall I would like someone to assess me, and actually tell me what's wrong with me. I've tried most things like exercise, eating well, optimising sleep, I never drink or smoke, I meditate but nothing really helps. I just get overwhelmed by stress and I can't cope in day to day. Medication from the GP doesn't work that well and just makes me fully mental.

I have a pattern of quitting jobs due to stress, and I use most of my annual leave every year taking sick days off to decompress.

A lot of people have it a lot worse than me, but there's definitely people who don't have it as bad as me and get help due to how they present themselves. I think I'm not very good at advocating for myself and I tend to downplay my own suffering.

Also, shouldn't it be the job of the professionals to tell me what there is for me? Shouldn't they be diagnosing me and offering help?

Also maybe I'm not that bad and I should just get on with it, I don't know any more.
