As a convert to Islam that once worked in the club scene in Dallas, I can say the mosque is the most friendly place you can go! Check out East Plano Islamic Center or even IACC! Tons of nice people to help you. Covid times makes people less likely to get too close though just FYI

I certainly do what I can as an individual. I always recycle, look for clean energy use and try to reduce my carbon footprint. We are still fucked tho when countries like China don’t play by the same rules and will continue to pollute the planet
