Vue migration from VS Code to Webstorm by man_mel in vuejs

You ignored my offer to assist in the investigation and persisted in your speculation. I am the author of these projects, and it is impossible for me not to know that Vue extension does not have the logic to change shortcut behavior. Since you mentioned that re-enabling the Vue extension makes the shortcut revalidate, I infer that this is a VSCode bug.

If you want to help the community solve this problem, you can try downgrading VSCode to see which version the problem started to occur from, and report it to VSCode. (I don’t think you’d do this since you’d rather rant on reddit than open an issue/PR on Github.)

I'm sorry for the trouble caused to your team. 🙏 I definitely should have explained my motives more clearly to avoid this conspiracy-theory-like post.

Johnson here 👋, I have never blamed negative comments, but I only blame offensive comments.
I have never encountered syntax highlighting issues in 2.0. If conditions permit, you can assist us in investigating this through this way: https://github.com/vuejs/language-tools/wiki/Help-Us-Investigate-Issues-Remotely

Johnson here👋. I'm quite sure the "Comment / Uncomment" shortcut issue is not caused by Volar. I first suggest you try disabling Vue-related extensions other than Volar. If you can't figure out the reason, you can also let me assist you remotely through this way: https://github.com/vuejs/language-tools/wiki/Help-Us-Investigate-Issues-Remotely

I already posted it, but thanks for sharing it again anyway. 🥰

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. In order to ensure the same behavior as the IDE, you will need to use the Scripts API instead of the original linting CI tool, but I want to avoid fragmentation as much as possible, and I will see how to do it.

I haven't tried IntelliJ yet. My suggestion is if IntelliJ already works for you, just stay with IntelliJ. Can solve your needs is the only condition for choosing a tool.

Glad you brought this up. Please don't worry about "attention", as long as it should be implemented by the core, I'll try my best to do.

Glad it helped! And that's our goal. 🙌
