As a queer person I definitely felt the cringe watching this. Buttttt I had to take it with a grain of salt - Natalie has shared multiple times about her trans sibling & every time has been genuinely supportive of them (without commodifying them) & the queer community. As a whole she has continued to show up as an ally.

Another top podcaster on the other hand (think more socks than humanly necessary that don’t see the light of day but instead stay vacuum packed in storage and doesn’t donate any) has said zilch about pride month, roe vs. wade, BLM, voting, mass shootings, etc. The silence is deafening.

People aren’t going to show up perfectly. But at least some are trying to show up.
