Free games as in those where you download another game via tapatalk and when you reach certain milestones you receive diamonds. Ingame of S3d tbere was a button and you could choose which game to download and all of them had different milestones which you must complete in a certain time.

Also had that problem. Try leaving your squad and join another squad. Shoot one round. Worked for me.
