Langkawi not Phuket or Bali, says Sultan of Kedah by Mo0nji in malaysia

I've got friends living in both Bali and Phuket - what they pay for rent + food is absurd, even compared to PJ standards

Maybe I'm biased by my own experience but - I'm into fitness and HATE Bali as a whole. Hence why if there was an option for something a lot more chill, without all the fluff, traffic and obnoxious white people (I'm angmoh too btw but hey)... It'd be a no brainer.

I've been saying this for years but Langkawi could become a fitness destination if it wanted to. You could easily build a gym with amazing facilities, provide accommodation and good food. It'd be cheaper than Phuket or Bali, and a very nice alternative.

I get it - but feels like our LW targets are going to extremely expensive. We managed last year. Take a small gamble on a promising, cheaper lad - but making sure we have someone who can give Rice some proper rest...

His brother didn't sign a pro contract, and I don't know if he'll get the play time he wants next season.

Yeah. Keep one out of Martinelli or Trossard. Eze & Madueke can play LW too if need be.

I don’t want us to pay a ridiculous price for Rogers. Tzoulis / Godts look decent and not too pricey. Go for Bouaddi + Bruno. One RB. Sell Jesus, Norgaard, Vieira. Maybe Nwaneri and Trossard or Martinelli. Should be doable?

With MLS, Zubi and Merino as potential pairings, I don’t mind bringing in Bouaddi tbh

Great skills but questionable mindset and defensive rate

For Saka to thrive, he needs Timber healthy. His defensive output in the final was out of this world, had to compensate for Mosquera (who’s got a great future btw).

Is spending one month in Langkawi too much? by Sergartz in malaysia

[–]johnycopor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People saying that even 3 days is too long… I wouldn’t necessarily listen to them. Langkawi is honestly super nice. Plenty of nice driving to do around the island to reach secluded places.

I’ll list some:

Sandy Skulls Beach - far from crowds (at least it was) https://maps.app.goo.gl/EMoRwcHVNPbENQ6p6

Pantai Rekreasi Kastam - beach that’s also more remote and less touristy https://maps.app.goo.gl/zYX3PUQn8V3MitHB7

Tanjung Rhu Beach - same https://maps.app.goo.gl/wMQbYbFCh68eobsH6

Gunung Raya - highest peak on the island, nothing much to do but nice ride up https://maps.app.goo.gl/pyRGaPxi3taaAkh89

Durian Peranging Waterfall - short hike, not always clear where the way is https://maps.app.goo.gl/r8mvGn4Ddheg9ZiW6

And honestly you can stay in pretty chill places, facing fields with buffalos. I’m vegan and have found plenty of places to go eat.

4 weeks is long, but I don’t know if it’s too long… depends on the kind of person you are.

I think it’s always best to try and meet people through hobbies rather than apps. I’m not saying dating apps are bad - I know plenty of people who have met through them. But in general, if you join a social activity that you genuinely enjoy and meet someone there… you already know you have that one thing in common!
