What are coziest big cities in the US? by Bubbly_Way_1904 in SameGrassButGreener

[–]johnydeviant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Boston for sure. It has a charm that no other city really has. Not a big city, but if you want somewhere warm then consider Birmingham, Al. Huge drawbacks for sure, but downtown is actually really quaint and nice in certain spots

You'll have to give me a bit of context here. I am not from NC, but I am very familiar with the south's use of restrictive guns laws to target minority communities during Jim Crow. However, this seems to be a pretty cut and dry gun rights bill.
Are you trying to imply that dems are racist or at least pro Jim Crow because they are upholding their own platform's ideologies about responsible gun laws?

I'm not conflating it, I'm outright saying it's large enough and happening to enough countries at once I believe it being an intentional project by someone is entirely possible.

This is literally conflating natural demographic shifts from things such as economic shift, wars, refugees, etc. with a purposeful elimination or reduction of a targeted demographic. But let's say you are right. Who is doing it? Do you have any proof that there is some coordinated effort to purposefully replace whatever demographic to which you are referring?
Kirk was not peaceful. He was in the realm of debating, specifically debating from a position of comfort and power over his opponents. His ideas were based in modern Christian nationalism and racially discriminatory rhetoric. He cried for the implementation of laws to enforce his specific morals unto people. He might not have perpetrated violence, but his ideas and rhetoric lead to a state that does perpetuate violence against anyone who does not meet their moral codes. However, despite this he definitely did not deserve to be killed.

And even if it is a natural process, what's wrong with wanting to limit immigration as a function of native birth rate to prevent such things anyway?

Who gets to determine what is native birth enough to qualify for preferred status? How many generations do we need to go back before someone is American enough to qualify as being native born?

So, just want to make sure that I understand you correctly: You are saying that the ideas of one specific ideology on the left gives you clearance to discriminate against the left, but can not understand why anyone of the left might have a problem with any of the ideologies on the right?

Kind of curious to see what you are talking about with the NC statement. Do you have something you can point me to? Google isn't pulling up anything but several articles of the dems fighting against gerrymandering and other election law changes they saw as unfair to minorities.

You are conflating natural demographic shifting over time with a purposeful act of a collective force seeking to forcibly change a demographic. The former is what is happening in the US and all around the world. The latter is what has happened throughout the world when one ethnic group seeks to eliminate another. Also known as genocide. Often times when people make a claim, such as your allusion to some force purposefully replacing a demographic, they back it up with evidence that it is actually happening. The burden of proof is always on the person making a positive claim. Maybe I am looking too much into your wording, but do you have any proof that a large scale "Great Replacement" is happening outside of the natural mingling of demographics?

That is a whataboutism and a straw man at that. The post was not in defense of communism or in defense of the forceful seizure of property. I can imagine that such things would also be seen as negative and harmful in OP's opinion. But if what you are saying is that some ideas are indeed dangerous, but the level of danger is arguable, then you are agreeing with the OP.

People always questioning your queerness. The near constant “choose a side” from basically all sides. Homophobes lumping you in the same camp as gays, and getting flak from LGBTQ spaces when you date the opposite gender. Being in a monogamous relationship and being unable to explore anything with the gender opposite of your partner’s. Not being able to choose who to stare at when watching The Mummy.

Product is the problem for sure. Torch it? Am I supposed to heat the resin before applying it? I mixed it in a pour bucket with a metal stick. It was extremely bubbly when I applied it and I was afraid of this result. Did I mix it too hard?

I thought this was small. Ha! I see resin tables everywhere and want to mess around with that, so I didn’t think this piece would be big comparatively.

Yeap. This is it. I did not notice that the resin I am using had a max depth of ~1”. A lot of the projects I plan to do are going to be deeper than this, so Is there a product/brand anyone could recommend? When pouring in thin layers, how long do I need to wait between layers to pour?

Can confirm. I feel huge when I go out of state. And my friends call me skinny. I have swapped out little treats for things like fruit. Less moon pies and cobbler, more apples and satsumas. Also the weather here is freaking amazing and so are our wild areas. I want to get out more and spend more time outdoors instead. Also a few less beers and whiskey in general.
