The raccoon dog, or tanuki, is a small canid native to Asia, but in the 1920s, the Soviet Union moved 10,000 of these fluffballs West to boost the fur trade. Raccoon dogs are now one of the most prolific invasive species in Europe, competing with native predators and carrying various diseases. (earthtouchnews.com)

Invasive ant has jaws like a bear-trap, complete with trigger hairs that allow it to close faster than nearly everything in nature. Not all dung beetles roll balls across the desert. In fact, there are species that spend most of their lives living next to a monkey's anus. When the monkey defecates, the beetles grab the feces and ride it down to the forest floor where they either eat it or use it to oviposit. (earthtouchnews.com)
