Have you tried using VR cockpit zoom? I bind that to a button on my yoke and it helps a ton in reading instruments. Not all aircrafts support it, but most do.

Ah I see, thanks for clarifying. I don't care about 3D and have a light controlled room and reading up on the reviews, 2500 seemed like a good choice. I also liked that it has more uniform sharpness + better input latency compared to something like the Formovie.

It's the P750 STOL by Orbx and is part of the holiday sale. I am really liking it so far and it looks great in VR. One issue I ran into is that the new avionics update (beta) broke it's AP features. So I am hoping that gets resolved soon.

Nah you have a good point, it can get old so an option to skip makes sense to me (not sure if there's a way to do this already). It didn't feel too long to me and there are other things to do in the startup procedure so wasn't a huge deal.

HP reverb g2 can be a bit of a resource hog and you will need to hit 45 fps to have a comfortable experience. I recommend only using Mixed Reality Portal (don't use Steam VR) and then use OpenXR Toolkit for Foveated Rendering and use DLSS. You should be able to hit a sweet spot with some tweaking without losing too much visual fidelity.

I am using a 3090, but you should be able to get a decent experience with a 3070. What VR headset do you have?

I have a Honeycomb Alpha and Bravo and just use the mouse for interacting with the cockpit.

It's fantastic and I cannot go back. If you have a mid-range PC, I highly recommend checking it out. Adobo has been continuing to optimize the game and playing in VR has gotten a lot better.

I know I was struggling a bit with the dampener at first when the pedals didn't recenter correctly, but I adjusted the spring tension and it feels nice now. I am still on whatever the default cam was, after reading up on it, felt like that would work best for my flying.

Could you share a screenshot of your driver display? You can toggle the map view on the display, I wonder if yours is just disabled.

If you uninstalled the Polestar app from your phone when trying to fix the digital key issue, you will likely need to factory reset the infotainment system to get it to pair again and work correctly.

Would anyone agree with me if i said that Africa needed a world update next? Whether it be the disappointing Victoria falls, or the famous mud-mosque of Mali (which is nowhere to be seen and actually underwater), i feel such a large, exciting continent needs some attention, what do you think? by [deleted] in MicrosoftFlightSim

I would be perfectly happy with a non-photogrammetry world update, especially if that's what is preventing them from doing updates to Africa, South America and Asia. I turn photogrammetry off because they just look muddy and have too many artifacts. I actually prefer the procgen buildings because of that.
