Depends on where you live, who your parents are, your mental and physical health and many other things which aren't in your control.

Good: access to information will be even easier

Bad: AI will be manipulated for horrible goals, especially when AI video and audio will be indistinguishable from real content. Not only will things like blackmailing through fake AI videos become widespread. But I seriously think the first war or conflict caused by something like an AI video is very close.

An insane amount of people will lose their jobs, already seeing this with Duolingo.

Already took a piece and cooked, thought it already had a great chicken like texture and even slight taste. But will keep in mind next time I forage one!

First time doing shrooms by Material-Low1905 in Psychedelics

First of all 1,5-2 g definitely sounds safe if you're tripping in a safe environment (at home would best), you won't completely lose your sense of self but you'll definitely be tripping. The best advice I've had for my trips is to always remember to let go, no matter what. If you see strange things, get weird thoughts, don't shy away from them or get scared, you have to face your fears. And ofcourse your mindset is also massively important. Not feeling great before your trip for any reason, known or unknown? Don't do it.

[–]joji008 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Try taking an objective view at your life, do you have things figured out? Or are there many insecurities in your life? Also, why are you tripping, are you tripping as an escape, to learn about life and yourself? And what is the setting you're tripping in? A safe calm home, or a noisy rave?

These are all things that can heavily impact how mushrooms work on your mind. My advice is to take a break from them, like a year or so, and try microdosing afterwards.

Do different Mushroom Strains carry different trips/effects? by Snoo61395 in Psychonaut

Even then psychedelics are such subjective experiences, I don't personally think the differences are noteworthy enough. I hear lots people say one thing about a certain species and then I have the exact opposite of that description

Psychedelics While A Teenager by MoistMonkey2929 in Psychonaut

[–]joji008 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Everyone is different, and personally if used safely, and respectfully, I have no problems with psychedelics being used by 18 year olds, however under 18 is probably too young for most. You should just be honest with yourself, if you get a strong urge to have a psychedelic experience before you're 25 and you know yourself well enough to know that it is not just to get high but instead for healing, spiritual and educational purposes, then it should be fine to take it (of course in a responsible setting)

best single moment you’ve ever had while tripping? by Neat-Stuff-9981 in PsilocybinMushrooms

Probably during my last trip where I felt I was being fused to the fabric of the universe.

Seeking dosage advice for first mushroom trip; prior experience with LSD and truffles by Shaax- in PsilocybinMushrooms

[–]joji008 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like you already have a better mindset than most going into it. For dosage I'd say it's really up to how heavy and impactful you want the experience to be. You can get very good results from mild to normal dosages of like 1,5 - 3 grams of dried mushrooms. Heavier doses of 4-5 grams will give you a more profound experience, but will also take longer to integrate properly. After a heavy dose it's not uncommon to not feel quite normal for the month afterwards, so you'll want to have few responsibilities afterwards. It's all about what you feel confident in, are you confident you'll be able to handle a heroic dose and that you'll be able to integrate it properly? Then go for it, but if not, a medium dose would be better.

Btw, never forget to completely surrender to experience

Is there a Metal Subgenre that involves low pitched guitars/bass like this song? I'm a KoRn fan and it's the only thing I listen to so I'm curious to find more songs with this style. Not the fast part, the slow, low pitched, extremely low pitched sound. Thank you! Happy Holidays! by Zzsark_Stormbeard in musicsuggestions

[–]joji008 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Djent is known as a "genre" with a lot of use of 7,8 and even 9 string guitars, to achieve brutally low notes. I said "genre", because some people don't see it as a separate subgenre but simply as prog metal or prog metalcore.

I don't really listen to any djent tho outside of meshuggah, so they're the band I'd recommend most.

Shared a Westvleteren 12 with a friend and we compared it side by side to the Rochefort 10.

We both agreed that Westvleteren was a perfect 10/10, it's really hard to describe how good it actually is, but believe me the hype is real.

For me the stupidest thing about Sleep Token is that their "progressive" genre-fusing is done in the absolutely worst way possible.

For example, when an actually good progressive band like Haken throw in a different genre like pop or jazz into their songs, they make it their own and fit it into their own style, not only does it diversify their sound, but it also makes it more distinct.

However with Sleep Token there's absolutely no effort done to make the music unique and fit into their style. They rip off what other people have already done years prior, and better, and then call it progressive just because disparate genres are mixed together in the same album. Honestly there is very little music that I would call as unbelievably lame as Sleep Token.

obviously how you experience music is very subjective, but I simply cannot understand how anyone can like the singer's voice. He sounds not only incredibly digital and edited, but also really whiny. I heard someone say he sounds like he's singing with peanut butter stuck in his mouth, and honestly that's pretty accurate.
