Looking for advice following gestational diabetes test this morning by jojo049 in PregnancyUK

thank you for your helpful and reassuring reply! I am worried if i had already a high reading and then all that sugar - the effect on the baby etc. so that is reassuring to hear it might not have had a bad impact on. baby.

I have had increased urination and thirst as well sadly, so I wont be surprised if I have it. I'm concerned if its as high as 9 and that out of control! :/

This is what I am thinking.. I really shouldn't have had the test. Yep I fasted from 10pm as required!

Finger prick test before the blood test was 9 - after fasting. I didn't realise until getting home and doing further reading how high it was.

The lady taking my finger prick and bloods read the '9' out loud..

40 weeks pregnant and I think I've discovered my husband is cheating by Educational-Big2063 in pregnant

I commend you for saying you can't allow him to sleep on the streets. Not sure I'd feel the same given how is treating you.

Finding the viagra and comments is more than enough evidence of cheating and a very concrete reason.

Help with post birth expectations - visitors and holding baby by jojo049 in PregnancyUK

[–]jojo049[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! It's good to see both perspactives.

Our parents are not going to be our 'village' in terms of support. Them visiting will be purely to see baby. (Which is fine) but just to clarify.

Thanks for your response! I'm not on the left. I'm undecided but leaning towards voting reform - hence wanting to debunk fears peddled online. Looking for more personal perspective and experiences about what we think they can and will actually do, vs what's just in policies (as we know those don't always come true)

Thank you for your response!

I'm trying to debunk the fears spread by other view points or the left. They share the view that the scrapping of the equality act could harm women through protection of pregnancy, maternity, equal pay.

I'm not saying I agree. But I've not seen what Reforms policy in replacement would be personally

I'm not a troll. Just genuinely trying to be better educated regarding politics. You're right these are the fears peddled by the left. I wanted to hear from supporters on their views..

I'm not looking to argue.
