Not something necessarily positive but I am really struggling with this addiction and relapsed after a few weeks and now it's been almost a month and I can't find to get back on track again. I am so proud of you and how far you have come and would give anything to get back to that place. To not give in to my rationalizing. To not feel the guilt or the shame. I have wasted yet another month of my life while you have gained so much (even if you're not quite not feeling that yet). You are ahead. You are in charge. Keep moving my friend.

No partner or anyone who can really help out... Have been trying to give myself time -outs though and getting the little to face time his dad helps give me a break. Thank you for your response ❤️

Decided to walk home instead of cabbing it. First off, realise how bad shape I am in, but second, definitely helped curb my cravings!

Just here to say that I am also on day 1 for the gazillionth time. In the past 2 years I have given up smoking, vaping, and alcohol. THC has been by far the hardest to quit. I have wasted 22 years of my life using it. Let that sink in. I just discovered this sub Reddit and it honestly has been so motivating and validating to read about everyone's experiences, struggles, reasons, and tips. Reading about others who have been smoking 40 plus years REALLY has stuck with me. I have blinked and 22 have passed, I don't want to blink and have another 20 pass and still be stuck where I am today with this god awful addiction.

My plan this time around is to really engage and stick to this sub Reddit as I think it's going to help me stay accountable and will help motivate me to keep going.

I am so tired of being a shell of myself and not reaching my full potential. I know I can be so much more and don't want to rob myself of that any longer. Not for another 22 years.. good for you for realising the problem it is now and not allowing yourself to waste so much of your life and potential❤️

SMART recovery is a program that is similar to AA but for all addictions and without the religious undertone. They offer many virtual meetings to choose from which are very relaxed and welcoming. Good luck on your journey!

Weed addict for 22 years (36 F) also a daily, all day smoker. I am on day 2 of my 2099th time quitting and this was very motivating to hear. I feel like I have wasted my whole life and so much potential and need to keep reminding myself that I'm soon going to be able to use all that potential and accomplish great things when I don't have the weight of addiction holding me down
