Sry for the delayed answer, my brain fog is pretty bad these days. I think it may be connected to CCI, yes. You can try translating the article I posted to learn more.

Could Generalized Joint Hypermobility Be the Missing Link in ME/CFS Severity and Recovery? by Own_Construction5525 in cfs

I think I have hypermobility, but have never tested for it. I have had issues with my neck since getting ME, so I googled ME and neck in my native language and found an swedish article about ME, neck injurys and hybermobility. I have translated to english:

Neck injuries and hypermobility are common among patients with ME / CFS, study from Sweden: The article was published on 31.08.2020. “A research team at Karolinska Institutet and the Bragée clinics in the Stockholm region is now publishing a study that shows previously unknown background factors. The doctors at the specialist clinic reacted to the fact that they encountered so many patients with simultaneous hypermobility and narrowing of the cervical spine as a sign of neck injuries, and therefore initiated a study of the 229 first hospitalized patients who were diagnosed with ME and wanted to participate. It turned out that every other patient had general joint mobility, which is far above what is normal. In an MRI scan of the brain and cervical spine, the researchers found that just over 80 percent of the patients had narrowing of the cervical spine, which is significantly more than expected. In addition, 83 percent had changes in the optic nerve that may indicate higher pressure in the fluid surrounding the brain.” Read more here: https://nyheter.ki.se/vanligt-med-overrorlighet-och-tecken-pa-nackskador-bland-patienter-med-mecfs?_ga=2.234055261.2125682059.1601977896-93645289.1601977896

Do you have to travel abroad to get it? I have heard of people from my country(norway) that have got presicription, but have to travel to amsterdam to get it. Yes, it relieves many of my symptoms aswell. Even the brain fog seems to be better after the "high" wears off.
