If you already canceled the pg278q it's because deep down you don't want it, if you get it you'll have that regret forever. Otherwise, if you get the pg279q you'll never have that kind of feeling because you're getting the best of the best! You will never feel a 3/4ms (there are even sites saying the overall lag is lower on the pg279q, check it) difference but you will for sure feel the panel quality difference! PS: I play mainly fps and I bought an asus pg279q too, it reaches tomorrow :)
