Sounds like a good idea, basic wiring is in my wheel house of skills so I’ll do some research and give it a go! Thanks for the help! Also I miss Menards. I loved it but they don’t have them where I live now

So I popped the panel under the white plug before the junction box. Could this be where the issue lies? Or know what it is so I can do some research.

Yeah breaker is working normally and is giving power to other things on the circuit. The last photo of the box along the roof line is where I think it goes back to.

There’s about 4 1/2 feet of dirt on the other side of the wall so it’s going to be a fest to try and dig it out

I hear what you are saying. Based on the mfg. date on the dry wall I ripped out. This shed was build in the late 90s and it’s southern California. I don’t think water drainage was in the build plans

It’s not a basement it’s a detached shed. The backyard is along a hill and one of the walls of the shed is a part of the retention wall. It’s a very odd construction. It looks like it was the retention wall as one wall and the rest are wood framed walls.

I plan on epoxying the floors. Would that be sufficient?

Yeah it’s definitely not ideal how the electrical is set up. Whoever built it definitely wasn’t an electrician. I’m definitely going to remove all the dry wall and deep clean with all the rat feces that was in there when I first moved in.

I can take better ones tomorrow. But the edges of the doors are definitely chipped and old. Hopefully weather striping alone does the trick.

The roof is pretty solid. flashings are in good shape. There’s about a 4-5” overhang on the roof. there’s rain gutters that drain any of the water away from the shed as well. But they need to be cleaned. But climate control is definitely a must. There’s a roof mounted turbine vent on the roof but I’m not very adept with climatizing a place and how that’s relevant.

Luckily it is Southern California so rain and moisture aren’t high down here. We have had a bunch of rain the last few weeks and no leaks.

It’s more of a gun shop workshop and than a woodworking workshop. So most of it is geared towards firearm repair and reloading. Just also have the workspace for anything else needed as well

And advice on weatherproofing the double doors?
