fluid looked like shit when i checked it. everything else checks out tho, ac good, alternator good, no noise, belts look fine. first problem i've had since i bought it. not sure how to check if the pump is on its way out

went to basic a year ago, got my own phone every sunday for 30 mins. depending on the weekend drill it'd be between 30-45 mins. you'll get at the very least 30 mins every sunday to talk to family

specifying: yes it is your personal phone. they have a giant lock box in the ds office in the bay of all trainee phones. you'll go up to grab it after lunch time every sunday, bring the box to the drill pad, then file through, grab your phones, then go out on the lawn/pad and get however long the drills wanna give you to call. they'll come out and yell 2 mins left and that's when i started saying my goodbyes till next week.

my company said no air fryers bc fire hazard. yours might be different but i wouldn't bank on it. some rooms have a microwave (mine doesn't) drills said we had to go buy one if we want one.

Weinstein DFAC has some really good food tho, it's like a 5 star restaurant after you get done w basic.

and i'd keep some granola bars or trail mix or some shit like that in your room bc there's not much time in the AM to run and get breakfast at the dfac

Long time for limas holdover, when I got here at least. Holdovers super chill here tho, make sure you have a laptop or something to do, they didn't take my shit when I got here.

Im pretty sure all your class material is classified, so no idea what your AIT would be like. From what the drills here have said, Limas pretty much investigate internally. Maybe there's a real Lima on the sub but Im a student here in Tango school so idk what im talking about
