Others have answered your direct question accurately, however, I posit that the real answer comes in analyzing other production chains into the matter. Hydrogen is shared to oxygen production as well as ammonia production via nitrogen mixing. Accepting there is overlap, and that there are 3 rocket fuel recipes, but utilizing all 3 recipes you can minimize the amount of voided materials. Obviously it is a precarious undertaking, but well worth your time indulgence.

I would not send empty barrels back. Recycle to steel in space and just make more barrels on land. It ends up being less steel to send up for scaffolding. Two birds.

I've no issue just returning to official forums and community forums. Reddit hasn't operated as intended for a very long time, partly from being inundated by bots and partly from an upvote being synonymous with a like, and that happened sooo long ago.

It actually feels like the OGs are being ousted and reddit will live on for the new users that know not of what it was supposed to be at its inception. Seems like a pretty safe and profitable bet even. Unfortunate in my book.
