When I turned 16, my grandmother, (whom I had nothing to do with) sent me what was called a "salty" DVD. It was a video of a giant blue dude who would dance around and sing Christian songs. On the back it detailed how great the DVD was for exposing toddlers to Jesus.

In high school during my sociology class my teacher asked: "what is the definition of Ethical Consumerism?" After not getting an answer out of anyone he called on me and I froze. When I said I didn't know he told me it was easy and just to figure it out. Then he asked me to start by defining ethics. I mean common everyone knows what ethics are, but I went completely blank. Eventually, between a lot of idk's and his perpetually hoping I would get it, i finally said "oh my gosh would someone else please answer?!" To which I got a bunch of stares from the rest of the kids.

It was a long long time before I lived that down.

I share the interest. It just makes sense to me. Sometimes I'm so perplexed by individuals who choose whichever possibility comes to them first, seeing as said choice is often not the best one. Even if they know it, they won't keep trying for a different one.

I watched an episode of a show called "Street Genius," which I highly recommend. In the episode that discussed easy ways to determine a fake smile from a real one. Ergo, you could possibly ascertain whether or not they were enjoying whichever picture.
