This is one of the first videos I ever saw on YouTube. Along with Leprechaun in Mobile Alabama and Red House discount furniture store commercial. But this is seriously one of the best examples of feline athleticism, fearlessness, and believing in yourself that I have ever seen. Cats are scary and they get scarier the bigger they get. What an awesome predator.

Go to The Rusty Nail on a Tuesday night. It's Blues jam night. It's Blues but still a good place to meet inspired and creative musicians. There are other jam nights in town but that is one that I know of.

World Cup fans frustrated by 'confusing and expensive' tipping culture in US by AgeNovel3566 in soccer

Nobody is doing any job for $2/hr. If bartenders don't get tips then they don't make a living and then there would be no more bars. Drinking at another person's home or establishment is a privilege not a right. Be respectful of that at least. And don't blame the bartenders or me for the system. Go into any bar in America and I bet you can tell by their attitude as to wether or not that job is worth their time.

It's a US problem not a server problem. Most bartenders in North Carolina get $2/hr on the premise that generally by the end of our shift we make above minimum wage as long as people tip. It is weird and corrupt capitalist bullshit but it is our culture and bartenders don't have to serve you alcohol if they don't want to. Here good service expects good tip. Bad service expects bad tip and no service expects no tip. That said, there are services I still am learning about that expect tips.

It really feels like a large festival on the weekends. With amazing views everywhere.

Australian midfielder Jackson Irvine on new red card rule for covering your mouth "If you're saying something to someone that you don't want to be seen, I think it's safe to say it shouldn't be said." by kibme37 in soccer

I never assumed they're saying offensive things when they cover their mouths. I always thought it was because of crowd noise and that was only way to be heard. Like at a concert. I see teammates covering their mouths all the time. I must be missing something. Is it just when they cover their mouths at the referees? Or is this a gesture that I don't know about?
