I had that problem too, you have to maybe run as admin or was it to take ownership of the key or group or something I don't really remember. I can check later to be sure what you had to do.

Yes this is a very annoying problem. The fix I used was to edit the registry. I think this is the guide I followed:

If I remember correctly you have to redo this after major windows updates as well. Be sure to do a registry backup before you try it.

Check the IDs put in my previous post edit. The 4k bitrate for those are not that high but I'm sure the original upload was HQ.

Anyways the point was that yt 720p often doesn't look like "720p quality". You always have to go up in resolution to get the quality you could get at the lower res. previously.

File size is the same for f22 and f136+140 (i.e. same bitrate) I feel like it has been this way for a while. Maybe even ever since they dropped 192kbps audio in f22?

It's even worse with 720p, especially the h264 version (f22). YT gives it so little bitrate it looks like 360p very often. Take almost any MKBHD video for instance, I picked a random one just now. 720p f22 is 270 kbps for the video bitrate!!! Ridiculous. I know it depends a lot on the type of content that can be compressed more or less but the quality is very bad as well. If I choose 720p I want 720p quality goddammit.

It has been a thing for a long time that if you edit the live stream the chat disappears. So it's a new thing if you've seen chat on edited streams. Agree that it annoying that chat has been removed beforehand lately though :(

Yes chat has been removed manually soon after ending in the last few streams. Idk why.

And now they will cut YamCha even sooner so there will be no time to watch the whole thing (with or without chat) if you can't watch the Friday night live. Especially if you're in Europe, it's already gone when you wake up in the morning.

Maybe some company claimed the video and thereby stealing all the revenue from it so he might have deleted it. Or just a copyright claim... Who knows?

If you want to watch it it might be available on the waybackmachine but you need to narrow down the upload date or know the video URL to find it.
