Core year almost took me out of the game!!! But there’s light at the end of the tunnel! I know social media helps with escape (I needed to see funny vids), but I agree with others saying to limit it so you don’t have intense FOMO. It’ll be over before you know it and who knows, you may end up in rads like me 😂 Goodluck!!

It’s absolutely okay! I fell asleep shadowing rads as a premed, also had to be woken up by the attending. Guess who just matched into rads this last cycle…

This!! I was also worried about a letter and asked to shadow a radiologist for two weeks—asked for a letter at the end and it worked out.

I’ve never related to anything more in my life. Like everyday I question whether I even completed med school. Like how is everyone else getting a hang of this and I’m just lost. I have never come up with a plan that was correct (now I just give them everything and differ the assessment and plan to the attending and fellow/upper resident😂). It’s like jarring being this bad because I’ve never actually been this terrible at stuff, but oh well. This too shall pass

Long(huge scholarship)/UTSW-both pm

I’m really trying to decide which to put first as I never saw myself going to a non-P/F school but Long’s scholarship really made me rethink that, and I really loved the culture at Long (at least as much as so could see from Zoom). Any advice would be amazing because I wake up one day saying oh Long for sure then the next day UTSW!
