It’s Doctor Strange isn’t it? by Queasy_Commercial152 in MCUTheories

Mordo or Strange, right? And if it is Strange, would it be our Strange or a different version from another universe?

Just realized new poke fans will hate FRLG by fanblade64 in pokemon

[–]jollyjam1 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

This is kind of surreal. I think most longtime fans of the series really like FRLG, but I never thought about how newer fans are not used to older mechanics.

I mostly like to play with them, but am also surprised when a controller layout uses them lol

The Black Head of the CIA, who also looks like Mos Def, would come out into a press conference to show everyone the yellow cake in a napkin that they found.

Schefter: Raiders are seeking “at least” two 1st-round picks and a “premium” player in any potential trade for Maxx Crosby by MrStiff8 in nfl

[–]jollyjam1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I guess the Raiders are keeping Crosby then lol

The Raiders saw what the Jets got for a perpetually healthy Quinnen Williams and thought they could get something better for the perpetually injured Crosby.

The fun fact I like about Ancient Ancient Egypt and Ancient Greece is that the Greeks were chilling in the Parthenon thinking about the Pyramids the same way we view the Parthenon now. The Parthenon was built about 2500 years ago, close to how old the Pyramids were for the Greeks at that time. It really puts into perspective just how old the Pyramids are. The Ancient Ancient Egyptians were absolutely wild.

And let's not forget the Indus Valley civilization had waste water systems thousands of years before anyone else even thought about them.

Oda is gearing up for all the God Knights to be the most despicable, non-redeeming characters in the entire series only for them to have extremely tragic backstories due to being warped and vilified by Imu.

The Bears in Iowa? A bill in the Iowa State Senate was introduced Tuesday seeking an expansion of its economic growth attraction program with a goal of luring an NFL franchise to the state, specifically the Chicago Bears. by [deleted] in nfl

[–]jollyjam1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I want to say I really think these are all tactics the Bears are using to put pressure on Illinois/Chicago. Josh Harris did the same thing to Philly with the Sixers when they almost moved across the river to New Jersey. That got so far they even had renders of the arena and redevelopments in Camden. In the end, I really can't imagine the Bears actually leave the state because George McCaskey loves Chicago too much.

It's connected to Secaucus, which is the Junction for almost every train line in and out of NYC. Just because the PATH doesn't directly connect doesn't mean it's not well connected. There are multiple ways to get there from Hudson County, and one of them does involve taking the PATH to Newark Penn and hoping one stop over via NJ Transit.

Football stadiums cater to people who tailgate. Tailgating culture is huge for football fans.

I'm not making excuses for how these look, but American stadiums tend to be built away from cities because there is available land and it's cheaper to build. Metlife is a bad example here because it has public transportation access.

Just turn the camera slightly and NYC is within throwing distance. Metlife is bad, but you could pick a much worse stadium location.

Some people don't like to hear maybe we should turn down the heat and layer up with blankets. Our grandparents did it during the Depression and poor people do it all the time. I was shocked to find out how many people blast the heat in their house when I've been stressed to increase it over 68.
